The MSZ Story
MSZ Tree Lopping Services brings more than 35 years of practical arboriculture and tree-lopping experience to every job. That experience matters because tree work rarely comes down to the tree alone. Mick Zarb started in his arborist and tree removal career at the Sunshine Council, and gradually built his business from part-time work into a more established tree removal and lopping operation.
Mick and the team at MSZ are proud of their safety record and for going the extra mile for their clients, and leaving each location as clean – or cleaner – than when they arrived. Another important differentiator is Mick’s onsite quoting process. He prefers to personally inspect jobs rather than quote remotely because he needs to assess access, street parking, traffic management, stump-grinder access, whether a cherry picker or other machinery is required, and exactly what the customer wants done.
This lets him explain the job clearly to the customer and allows him to send the correct equipment and crew on the day.

We begin by looking at the whole site. We consider the tree's health and structure, its position, available access, nearby property, public areas and other hazards. We also ask what is prompting the work, whether that is safety, clearance, storm damage, landscaping, construction or ongoing maintenance.
The recommendation should match the problem. A tree may need removal when it presents an unacceptable hazard or conflicts with the safe use of the site. In other situations, targeted pruning, deadwooding, monitoring or preservation advice may be more appropriate. We explain the reasoning so the customer can make an informed decision.
Where practical, we prefer to inspect the property in person before quoting. This helps us identify access constraints and define the work accurately, reducing the chance of surprises once the job begins.
